Practical Jokes
I'm sure the LE folks here must have some experience, either giving or receiving, practical jokes from your brothers and sisters in blue. Perhaps you were the rook and got it, or you were FTO and gave it.
Anyone care to share some of the funnier stories? I'm not LE, but I am the "mystery" practical joker at work, for many years now. Nobody has ever figured out it's me. I'm sneaky! Here is my most recent handy work. That is a Lincoln Zephyr, and those are thousands of post-it notes.

Wow. I think I'd go ballistic if I saw that. Did you check to make sure the sticky gum of the Post It didn't leave a mark or residual? I don't mean to rain on your parade, but that's an awful expensive reparation on a car with a starting base price of $30k+ . . . . . . . .

That's good. My only concern would be the sticky leaving residue. Knowing that it doesn't, the humor is certainly there. That's the only reason why I would have gone ballistic, is fear of damage.

Powdered sugar in a person's bed sheets is awesome. Very lightly sprinkled. Just a little body heat and moisture creates a light but effective glaze.
We'd do this on fellow firefighters whe they went out on night runs. We also would 'ninja hit' a neighboring station if we were returning from a run and heard them sent out.
