More like good things come to people who try to do Yahoo Chat, and not everyone can see everyone's typing, so that everyone goes and takes 10 minutes and installs thus chat room for us. ;)

Since there is more then 1 room, we need to pick a room as our 'General' channel, unless you want to make a 'General' one Jet. That we all just meet in, until we decide to move to another channel, etc.

It's limited with not many options. That doesn't mean it's not good, though. It appears to work fine. Personally I don't like the sounds, but I like having sounds. You can only use the preset sounds or mute everything.

There's nothing wrong per se; it's really just personal preference (at least for me). I like being able to have options for sounds and such. I really liked the previous chat, but obviously it had serious security issues.

For Yahoo, you need to download Yahoo Messenger.

considering the last post in this thread was about 3 years ago... and we've gone through some upgrades since then, and Chat wasn't really used, it might have gotten bypassed in the code.
