Just another random question from me.
Probable there in Policeworld.net some members are amateur photographers as i am ?
So maybe we can find out some additional common themes to talk about ?
I would be glad to look at your online galleries or just single pictures if somebody there have things like it.

One of my hobbies is Photography. I have several sites with pictures I have taken with an Olympus SP350 (after a little incident with Olympus, I'm begining to feel that I've made a mistake in selection). I want to get a Digital SLR camera and have been looking at either a Nikon or Canon.

I really like the black and white photos. Certain subjects have a certain power to them in black and white and the ones that you have on your site has a lot to say, also it has a classic feel to them.
I haven't found too many subjects that would work well in black and white myself, but give me some time, there are so many things to see that have not been seen yet.
Oh, and Samantha says "Hi!". :)

Yes, sometimes color in photography just make a lot of useless information. Distrubing, lead away look from important, but not so bright colored parts of image - in causes like that - better cut off the color. or sometimes when color dont have any important information - so, b/w in that case will be look better than color image. As well as sometimes you can cut off some parts of whole image - and remainding part of photography will be much integral and interesting than uncroped picture.
And when you get camera - world around starting to be more interesting, yes ? ;) Rjsasaoka, you used pretty good words for it: "there are so many things to see that have not been seen yet."
Is it funny but when few photorapher make portraits of one man/women in one time and in one place - at pictures you can see few diferent kinds of that one man/woman, few diferent portraits.
P.S. And my cat (about 8 yeas old but still has no name, just "Cat") send she's salute to your Samantha. (Nice name, btw.) :cat:
