Hey mate,

Trying to find a logical reason for the price of posting something is like trying to locate Jimmy Hoffa. Dont even try because you will just end up with a headache. Thanks for sending them though.

Catchya later.

You posted something to your neighbour??? Just how far away is their house??????????????????

It was only next door, but it was an invitation to a party which would require rsvp,so I felt it proper to mail it instead of the always crass handing it over the fence like it was an afterthought...

Ahhhh.... Nope, I'd have still handed it to them! Or maybe posted it through the letterbox... (But then I'm so tight, I squeak when I walk...)

It is illegal in the US to place anything in a receptacle meant to receive mail processed through the postal service. And, yes, that means your mailbox at your house. Of course, that doesn't mean it isn't done, just that it's illegal.

I have the 2 J shaped hangers off the bottom of my mailbox and the paper delivery person started placing my daily paper there. How nice, I though. Then I was told it would no longer be there because the postal lady saw it and contacted the newspaper carrier and told them to cease and desist, it is illegal! It's not even IN the box, but hanging below it.

I spend .78 per month on stamps. I mail out only 2 checks per month. The rest is online bill pay through my bank, for no charge. Birthday cards, etc., are either hand delivered or sent electronically. 2 stamps per month isn't bad. :thumbs_up
