Or as they prefer now... the Houseless. Anyway there are a number of reasons for people to be homeless. I have dealt with all different types but the ones that the media never talks about are the lazy bums who choose to not work or accept responsibilities. They have choosen that way of life, they don't want all the bills that we have, to wake up and be expected to do for others. Why aren't these types talked about?

The homeless in Australia choose to be so. Our Social Welfare system provides the housing and when not available, there are the charities like salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul.
Australia pays Social Welfare money to the unemployed lazy bums as equally as it does to those who have lost their jobs by no fault of their own.

Some here have mental problems and should be held in a controled environment. But the liberals here have made laws that we can't take them to the looney house unless they are a danger. So we have people walking the streets who are talking to Marsian etc.
I do hate this and it is the worst thing to do, to give money to those who choose to remain homeless.

Most of the ones that we deal with are just worthless, sitting around wasting our air. There was a front page story about a man and his family in a local town that was getting ready to be kicked out of his home because he could not find a job, Horse crap. I can go out and fill out an application and even leave prev. experiance blank and get a job in about an hour. Well the bad thing about this article it never mentions that he has health problems or mental but he was laid off his job a few "years" ago and he has not been able to find a job. Horse crap he ain't even lookin. There is nothing I hate more than a worthless waste of skin. He was approached by "good citizens" who gave him enough money to pay his rent and a lot of other stuff. and "it made him cry" yeah right he was crying because he realized he was a waste of crap and suckin up my tax money, there is no tellin how much money we would save if it weren't for these people. Back on the subject "why aren't they talked about by media" he was but it was in the wrong light, but after reading the article I haven't heard a single person simpathize for him but I have heard several other things such as what I stated above. Waste of good plasma.

Biggie, I agree. It seems the media forgot about the homeless when Clinton was in office. But true to form the stories start coming when a republican gets in office.
