How do you keep pouches from sliding?

On my duty belt, I have a couple pouches that slide when I hold the belt vertical or when I let the front part hang while I put it on. It's a 2inch belt and I guess these pouches are made to allow a 2.25 belt.

Do you guys fasten them in some way, or just adjust them everytime you put it on?

An idea...

Black (or brown depending on belt color) Zip-Ties... tighten them down just enough that they hold on the leather, but use the locking mechanism to hold the pouches in place... make sure you cut off the excess, and depending where the locking mechanism is, might want to take a lighter or file to sand down the edge where you cut it...
