Being somewhat pro Taliban at the moment may not be too inviting to many US people but....
In Kualar Lumpar, The Dynasty Hotel which has a 5 star rating is the best place I ever stayed. Incredible service, very clean, excellent food, gymnasium, tennis courts, swimming pools, spa, sauna, massage, botique etc.... Located almost walking distance from the city center and priced at less than $50 USD per night.
